In April-May, 2007 during the organization of container transporting from Wismar (Germany) to Saint-Petersburg, the period of delivery from Sender's warehouse up to the factual container discharge in Saint-Petersburg port amounted eight days.The waiting period of empty container in Germany amounted two days.

In spite of difficult situation at Sea Container Terminal in Saint-Petersburg Port and as consequense increase of cargo delivery,that was mentioned several times in Mass Media, the period of cargo delivery from the date of getting request up to the port amounted ten days.

In September, 2005 during the organization of transporting the container from Lodgze (Poland) the period of delivery from Sender's warehouse up to St. Petersburg's port amounted tree days! Recipient received in the warehouse cleared custom freight in tree days. Total: Door Lodgze – Door St. Petersburg seven days.

In July, 2004 during the package of the container, dispatched by the BTC Company in Shanghai (China), the second consignor of goods and local forwarding agent didn't adjust feeding container in the place of an extra package. As a result, two pallets with freight were left underloaded. Foreign trade contract between the BTC's Client, stand as a Customer, and a Seller was made on FOB Shanghai terms. Thus, a Sender (a Seller) must incur all expenses and risks before the moment of the container's cross of ship's rail. However a Sender, having more powerful market position, refused a Customer to refund expenses on delivery of the underloaded freight.

The BTC Company, realizing its indirect fault, arranged for free delivery of the left freight to the St. Petersburg's port with the agents of navigable line CSCL that made sea shipping.
